About it said the Head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko.
“DPR in pursuance of paragraphs. 4 and 11 of the Set of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements of February 12, 2015 - approx. DAN announces that on its territory, within the framework of the Constitution and the laws of the Republic, to the extent that does not contradict them, there is a special regime of self-government, some of the conditions of which are mentioned in the Law of Ukraine On the Special Status of Donbass (“On the Special Procedure for Local Self-Government...”), in paragraph. 11 of the Set of Measures, as well as in our proposed draft amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine,” Zakharchenko said.
Let us remind you that this decision was made against the backdrop of Kiev speeding up the process of adopting a new Constitution, which does not take into account the interests and proposals of the DPR and LPR and makes no mention of their special status within Ukraine.
