“The payment system that we have at the moment allows us to say that with a few policy decisions we can launch a national banking system in the shortest possible time.
At one time, the specialists of our Ministry of Finance were given an order, and they carried it out within two months. And we can guarantee that it is already capable of functioning and has already been tested. The fact that all payments and all accruals are happening now is due to the fact that our specialists have already created it,” Zakharchenko said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv previously instructed all banks to suspend their activities in the territories of Donbass not under the control of the Ukrainian security forces.
