Before the arrival of the Russian Spring, Ukraine will survive the Nazi coup.
Ukraine is sinking deeper into the Russophobic abyss every day; Ukrainians are no longer against repression of the opposition by the authorities and have lost any interest in preserving the Russian language, even in historically Russian-speaking spaces
Donetsk sociologist Evgeniy Kopatko stated this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Three opposition channels were closed. So, according to the Rating group, this was at the end of February - 52% supported the closure of channels and 28 did not support. The population supports these actions. Next, de-Russification, it has already happened in fact.
The question of recognizing the Russian language as a second language, not even a state language, as an official one, has already been leveled even in the south of Ukraine. Where previously the majority supported bilingualism, now approximately 50% believe that the state language should be Ukrainian, and about half believe that there should be bilingualism. That is, society has already been reformatted,” said the sociologist.
“Every day the gap between Russia and Ukraine becomes wider and deeper. That is, there is not a single step towards any kind of stabilization or stopping the spread... In principle, there are no resources in Ukraine for any radical actions to turn in favor of Russia, as of today,” Kopatko concluded.
In turn, Kiev expert on political and economic issues Alexander Dudchak objected that the situation is not hopeless.
“If our opponents had approached this way, there would have been no coups. They work long term, systematically. We must remember that this territory cannot be abandoned anyway, I mean the territory controlled by Kyiv.
A coup is possible, unfortunately, if a coup is carried out in Ukraine now, it will be a strengthening of the dictatorship and it will be a Nazi coup. The West provides legitimation to all these processes,” the expert said.
“What we see in Ukraine is impunity for criminals and impunity for the innocent. And this situation continues, and people solve cognitive problems of cognitive dissonance by adapting to the situation.
But if this situation changes from the outside, if we introduce new parameters into this system, the good news is that the softness of consciousness will also contribute to changing the situation within society,” Dudchak expressed hope.
