“We are still pulling out these scoundrels” - Lukashenko commented on the detention of seven terrorists
A group of 7 people who committed terrorist attacks were detained in Belarus.
President of the country Alexander Lukashenko announced this today at a meeting in the Gomel region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Minister of Internal Affairs just reported to me: yesterday afternoon and tonight 6 or 7 people were detained who were trying to commit terrorist attacks. For some we simply watched and waited for them to do it on camera. Everything was filmed.
They have already started moving against civil servants, especially against employees of the prosecutor’s office, and even in the courts. 7 people were detained, we are looking for one. We'll find it. It seems he ran to Russia. They'll bring it to us. They are disgusting. Well, you punctured this tire. Is it worth the fact that you will now serve 15 years in prison? Why are they doing dirty tricks? Money again,” Lukashenko was indignant.
According to him, the forces financing terrorists want to disrupt the constitutional referendum being prepared in Belarus and install their people in the system of government.
“We know what changes they want. We know how they will boycott our referendum. Their most important goal is to get into the state apparatus. Therefore, keep this in mind and be careful when selecting personnel. Be very careful, because we, together with the police, the KGB and the prosecutor’s office, are still pulling out these scoundrels,” Lukashenko concluded.
