“Finish off” Russia: Ukraine was offered to leave the UN following PACE
Review by Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy invitations to observers for the elections from PACE is a completely illogical step, like other actions of Poroshenko’s “diplomats”.
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The prosecutor’s office is on the side of the old government, the Foreign Ministry is on the side of the old government, the Verkhovna Rada, together with Parubiy, is on the side of the old government. He recently expelled PACE from Ukraine - also wrong. As my neighbor says, I talked to him yesterday: “Well then we need to leave the UN, Russia is there too” - it’s really logical.
Ukraine is such a weak country that you need to use any platform in order to convey your point of view and so on. And, without a doubt, the fact that we flew out of there is the result of the previous chaotic and very cynical diplomatic activity of President Poroshenko and the same Klimkin.
I’m not even talking about the very scandalous, purely PR, rival “95th Quarter” delegation to PACE. That is, people knew how to do PR, people knew how to do noisy actions, but they did not become diplomats at all, none of them became diplomats, which did not prevent former President Poroshenko from making someone an ambassador and so on,” Nebozhenko noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, The Verkhovna Rada voted for Ukraine's exit from PACE.
