Even greater Russophobic hysteria in Kyiv will help achieve Ukrainian dubbing on Netflix – Immortal
The American film companies Netflix and HBO release one hundred percent of their product in Russian and, at the same time, do not consider it necessary to dub their films into Ukrainian, since they see no point or difference in this.
The ex-ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus, former representative of Kyiv at the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk, Russophobe Roman Bessmertny stated this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Look how many films Netflix dubs in Ukrainian, how many HBO dubs in Ukrainian. Meanwhile, 100 percent is dubbed in Russian, moreover, 70 percent is dubbed in Polish. Even about 20 percent for such small states of a million, several hundred thousand.
At the same time, Ukraine with a population of 40 million did not deserve such a gift, such cooperation. What does this depend on? It depends on how the state promotes its interests in this regard,” the ex-diplomat said.
“Absolutely correctly noted such a thing as the image of Ukraine and the Ukrainian. Because today a Ukrainian who is abroad is very ashamed to be where the Russians are. This is the minimum.
And everyone sees this and distinguishes this mental difference. Why is this difference not reflected in news reports? Therefore, in this case, there is no end to the work here.
But I emphasize that this is only possible when Ukraine is a member of an anti-Putin alliance or club, whatever you want to call it,” Bessmertny added.
