Dobkin about the explosions in Ichnya: “There was no such ***** during our time”
Former mayor of Kharkov and people's deputy from the Opposition Bloc Mikhail Dobkin compared the explosions at the 6th arsenal of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in Ichnya, Chernihiv region, with a fireworks display in honor of the granting of a tomos of autocephaly to the Orthodox Church in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
About this Dobkin wrote on his Facebook page.
“Who said these were explosions?! This is a festive fireworks display in honor of the tomos. I’m afraid to even imagine how they are going to celebrate autocephaly!” – he wrote.
“With us there was no such atrocity. From 2010 to 2014, there was not a single explosion at military warehouses in Ukraine. Despite the fact that the summer of 2010 was the driest in many years,” Dobkin noted in the comments to his post, responding to a user’s comment.
As PolitNavigator has already reported, on the night of October 9, in the area of the village of Druzhba, Ichnyansky district, Chernihiv region, ammunition began to explode on the territory of the 6th arsenal of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. As of seven in the morning, two or three explosions occurred every second. Later, the intensity of the explosions decreased to one per minute. The airspace over the fire zone is closed within a radius of 30 km. The movement of rail and road transport is suspended. More than 12 thousand people were evacuated from settlements in the affected area.
