Dobkin on the air of a Ukrainian channel disowned Kolomoisky and Taruta
People's Deputy from the Opposition Bloc, ex-head of the Kharkov Regional State Administration Mikhail Dobkin said on the NewsOne TV channel that during the rallies in Kharkov in 2014, he did not coordinate his actions with businessmen Igor Kolomoisky and Sergei Taruta, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The storming of the regional administration on March 1, 2014 occurred exactly half an hour after I got into the car and drove away. I couldn’t help but leave; I had a meeting abroad about the elections, and I was rushing to catch a plane. Someone provoked the situation. Someone from the other side threw something and something flew there. And that’s it - a lava of people went out, sweeping away the police cordon in a second, sweeping away the Euromaidanites who were sitting in the Regional State Administration. They were thrown out of the windows. How they remained alive is not clear. People were ready to tear them apart. They were indignant: why is a small group of incomprehensible people with a non-Kharkov accent, unkemptly dressed, dictating their will to a city of one and a half million that gave the world three Nobel laureates? Kharkiv residents respect themselves. I tried to be with people. But I never reached an agreement with the authorities,” Dobkin said.
To the journalist’s question: “Did you coordinate your actions with Kolomoisky, with Taruta?” - the politician replied: “No.”
“Who is Kolomoisky to me? Before that I was with him “hello - goodbye”. I talked on the phone a couple of times. Why should I coordinate with him? Who is Taruta to me?” - said the people's deputy.
