Welcome to everyday life: The Ukrainian visa-free regime turned out to be somehow inconvenient
Ukraine paid with the collapse of the economy and the war so that only 4% of citizens leaving the country could use the tourist visa-free regime. TV presenter Vyacheslav Pikhovshek stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“On December 27, 2017, Oleg Slobodyan, assistant to the chairman of the State Border Guard Service, reports that 380 thousand, or as much as 4% of Ukrainians from the total number of those who left, took advantage of the visa-free regime with the European Union.
The rest either had a biometric passport with a Schengen visa attached, or an old-style passport without chips with biometric data.
The conclusion is that it makes sense for these 4% of our citizens to rejoice if they don’t care what price our country paid with the collapse of its economy for the fact that it is easier for them to leave,” Pihovšek said.
