There are no volunteers left: Poroshenko has a shortage of cannon fodder for the war in Donbass
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko vetoed a law recently adopted by the Verkhovna Rada that would have allowed military personnel who had previously signed a virtually indefinite contract for service “during a special period” to be demobilized from the front.
People's Deputy of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko stated this on the air of the Big Interview program.

According to her, volunteers no longer want to go to the front, so Poroshenko does not release the military who went to the front in 2014.
“On the last days of the session, the Verkhovna Rada passed a law that we will demobilize people who signed a contract for a special period, who serve for a year and a half and cannot resign. The President vetoed it. Do you know why? Because when they showed him that the front line would simply be completely empty, because all the people standing there had been standing there for two years, and he realized that no one else would volunteer there. Therefore, this law was vetoed,” Savchenko said.
