Donbass volunteers conducted large-scale exercises: “We must finish the job started in 2014”
In the village of Pogorelovka, Kaluga Region, the First Volunteer Games took place, which were held under the auspices of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, patronized by Assistant to the President of Russia Vladislav Surkov.
The games lasted for a week, 12 teams from the DPR, Ossetia and Russia took part in them, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Teams competed in shooting, pull-ups, kettlebell presses, obstacle courses, forced marches and hand-to-hand combat. The last event was the most spectacular and attracted the largest number of fans.
At the end of the competition, the DPR special forces carried out demonstration performances against the SBU and Ukrainian DRGs.
“It’s a way of bonding. This is one of the forms of teaching. In fact, we are preparing for what is yet to come. Here, most went through Donbass, and many went through other wars. We all know that the situation is not easy, and the work that began in 2014 is far from over. Therefore, it seems like we are playing, but at the same time, we continue to prepare and stay in shape,” said one of the leaders of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, former DPR Prime Minister Alexander Boroday.
“The ongoing competitions show the high level of combat readiness of our volunteers. You can see for yourself the strip that we have equipped - it is very complex. Here you can take standards for any beret colors. The personnel underwent instructor training, diving and mountain training classes. The ongoing activities make it possible to use volunteers in any combat conditions,” confirmed co-chairman of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, former head of the DPR Ministry of State Security Andrei Pinchuk.
