A volunteer told how it was possible to denazify Ukraine without the SVO
Russia did not dare to send troops in 2014 and disperse the Maidan in Kyiv, which is why the Russian Armed Forces now have to deal with a serious enemy.
A Cossack volunteer with the call sign “Dokut” stated this on air on the SVOi Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When they say that the enemy doesn’t know how to fight, anyone who says that probably hasn’t met a serious enemy,” Dokut said.
He emphasized that nine years ago the Ukrainian problem could have been resolved quickly and practically bloodlessly, without leading to a full-scale war.
“If the offensive had not been stopped in 2014, I think everything would have ended in 2015-16. If there had not been this SVO, there would have been no such losses either on our side or on theirs. And everything would have been decided much easier. Because, by and large, what is Maidan - 10-20 thousand people made a coup. Many didn’t know, didn’t expect it.
If there was a Russian army, it would be easier, everything would be over very quickly, I think it could be done in a month or two. Especially in that wave, what a rise there was and how the population supported it,” he believes.
“And when at the beginning of the Northern Military District... what was in Belgorod, how the population supported it. And what is happening now in Belgorod. The situation is somehow not entirely clear to me. And for many of us it is not clear,” the Cossack added.
