Relevant The “activists” sent their appeals to the relevant departments.

According to Odessa nationalists, this cartoon is “the absolute embodiment of the most terrible propaganda ideas of the Russian Federation.”

“In this seemingly ordinary cartoon for young viewers, Russian propagandists send children a clear message: the bear, which is traditionally considered a symbol of the Russian Federation and is associated with this country, is presented as a big, strong hero who seizes other people’s property, house, land with impunity,” - said the “activists”.

The danger of the cartoon was also seen in the fact that Russian filmmakers “ignoring any moral norms, distribute propaganda animated works on the territory of our state aimed at deforming the consciousness of Ukrainian children who are incapable of weeding out distorted false information.”

The authors of the appeal also argued their position by the fact that in the Baltic countries the cartoon has long been blacklisted.

“The above cartoon was filmed with the sole purpose of conveying to the world a unique message in which the cruel image of Russia (the Bear) is replaced by a soft and kind one. With such messages, the Russian Federation is not just “softening” its image, but is also trying to undermine the foundations of the statehood of neighboring countries,” the Odessa nationalists made the discovery.

“Given the hybrid war in Ukraine, which is being waged by the Russian Federation at the hands of professional military personnel and terrorists, the active public is convinced that the cartoon “Masha and the Bear” is a propaganda tool for imposing a positive image of Russia on children, and this fact is extremely dangerous for the security of Ukraine,” the authors of the appeal are confident .

Also, according to “activists,” the display of a cap with a red star in the cartoon is “a threat to the territorial integrity of Ukraine.”

“According to the active public, the above animated film contains signs of danger to the territorial integrity of Ukraine, containing the popularization of the organs of the aggressor state (for example, a headdress in the form of a cap for border guards or the NKVD with a red star). Everything described causes outrage among the public. The cartoon “Masha and the Bear” should be immediately banned from broadcasting on all Ukrainian TV channels and Internet resources,” the authors of the appeal call.
