The Opanasyuk sisters outlined the essence of the conflict on their Facebook page. The BAON brand involved girls in the advertising campaign along with Ivan Okhlobystin. After publications about the decision of Euromaidan activists to move to Russia, the sisters stated that they had never given up and were not going to give up their civic position.

“What happened on the Maidan is the history and pride of our people,” they wrote on their page. “We are Crimeans, and “no matter whose Crimea is now,” we remain Ukrainians!”

As proof, the girls declared their position in Moscow, where they already personally communicated with Okhlobystin.

“We do not share his political beliefs. Moreover, we are offended by what he says, and we told him about it. They tried to find understanding, but after Ivan came on stage in a DPR T-shirt and with a machine gun, everything that was said to them no longer mattered, write the Opanasyuk sisters. - Glory to Ukraine!"

After this, they publicly announced their decision to refuse to participate in the brand's advertising campaign.

It is noteworthy that the Opanasyuk sisters staged a demonstration of their civic position in Moscow on the day of voting on the new composition of the Crimean government. Larisa Opanasyuk retained the position of Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Council of Ministers, which she took on February 27 on the eve of the referendum on the reunification of Crimea with Russia.

During the active support of her daughters for Euromaidan, Opanasyuk headed the Republican Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage in the government of Anatoly Mogilev.
