Dodik told how the pro-Western opposition wants to quarrel between Serbia and the Republika Srpska
Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik denied rumors spread by pro-Western media that he met with the sponsor of the opposition, Montenegrin businessman Miodrag Davidovic Dako.
The media wrote that this meeting took place in order to lure Dodik and the elite of Republika Srpska to the side of the pro-Western opposition, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Pro-Western media reported that the meeting took place in the Integra restaurant in Banja Luka (the capital of the RS). The purpose of this meeting was called “inciting opposition sentiments in the Republic of Serbia to the current government of Serbia.”
“I do not intend to justify myself and comment on any fabrications of this type, because it is obvious that someone is trying to pit the leadership of the Republika Srpska and Serbia against each other,” Dodik said. “I can only confirm that I recently met with Bishop Ioannikios, who was in Banja Luka visiting Bishop Ephraim.”
At the same time, Dodik once again noted that his relationship with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is at a high, friendly level.
“There have been absolutely no changes in the relations between Serbia and Republika Srpska, or in the personal relationship between me and President Vucic. He has my great support. It's my opinion.
We are very grateful for everything he did for RS. And now suddenly there are some who are making up stories to destroy it. Nothing will be destroyed! I am committed to the position that the policies pursued by Vučić have led to Serbia changing for the better and now being able to help the Republika Srpska,” Dodik said.
At the same time, it should be noted that during the elections the oppositionist became the mayor of Banja Luka blogger Drasko Stanivukovich, who is trying to undermine the situation in the Republic of Sakha in favor of the pro-Western opposition.
