Dodik: “More Serbs were killed in Sarajevo than Bosniaks in Srebrenica”
To counter Western myths, Republika Srpska is holding an international forum in Belgrade “Deconstructing the Myths of Sarajevo Peaceful Coexistence and the Srebrenica Genocide.”
The event was based on data from independent international commissions on the suffering of the Serbs in Sarajevo and the suffering of all peoples in Srebrenica, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik, speaking at the opening of the forum, said that the fraud by which the international factor aggravated the suffering of the Bosniaks in Srebrenica and classified them as he wanted, minimizing the suffering of the Serbs in Sarajevo during the civil war, suggests that the Serbs should constantly be awake and discuss this topic.
“More Serbs died in Sarajevo than Bosniaks in Srebrenica. That is why I see this forum as a contribution to our efforts to objectively present everything that happened in those years,” said Milorad Dodik.
Dodik recalled that the Bosniak Muslim structures from Sarajevo, as well as the Croats from BiH, rejected the Republika Srpska proposal to create a joint neutral international commission that would avoid the political influence of the United States and the EU, “which were behind this shameful falsification of “genocide.”
But the Bosniaks and Croats refused, after which the Republika Srpska decided to create an international commission.
