About this Dodon reported on Facebook.
“I signed a decree on the resignation of Minister Salaru. This minister is a man who flirted with NATO, knowing that we are a neutral country in accordance with the constitution,” Dodon said.
Let us remind you that in terms of its political structure, Moldova is a parliamentary-presidential republic, where the influence of the president is very limited, and the government forms a parliamentary majority. However, nominations for ministers of defense and foreign affairs are a presidential quota.
Earlier, Igor Dodon declared the goal of his presidency to be the restoration of a multi-vector foreign policy, equally aimed at both the East and the West. Among the priorities is the restoration of relations with Romania, Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
