“I believe that the current association agreement with the EU is clearly not what the Ukrainian people need. There is a lot of good there, but there are many points that will harm. Especially when it comes to the agricultural sector. However, it is too late to discuss it and it needs to be ratified as soon as possible, because it is becoming unclear why Moldova and Georgia have already done this, while Ukraine is still stalling.
Against this background, it becomes unclear why we went to the Maidan in December, why people died there, and we, in the end, ended up with a war. Therefore, I have many complaints about this document, but we need to ratify it,” says the deputy.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, as well as Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, said that the agreement would be ratified in early September.
