“We’ll finish the game!” – Karasev fears that the conflict in Donbass will become ethnic
The humanitarian policy of forced Ukrainization pursued by Kiev could provoke ethnic cleansing in the Donbass, as during the war in Yugoslavia.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Politeka Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You solve Donbass first, it can be solved at least in order to prevent more deaths. This conflict can be resolved because, unlike Yugoslavia, about 200-300 thousand people died there in two years. With religious massacres, with ethnic cleansing and ethnic massacres,” says the expert.
“We don’t have that. The conflict in Donbass is not ethnic. At least it was. But we can play out our humanitarian policy in such a way that we will make it ethnic,” Karasev said.
