Poroshenko’s income increased 4,5 times compared to last year and amounted to almost $3 million
New information about the income of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko appeared in the Unified Register of Declarations on Tuesday, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to Capital.ua.
Poroshenko declared dividends from PJSC “Closed non-diversified corporate investment fund “Prime Assets Capital” in the amount of 31 million hryvnia – or $777 million.
A couple of months earlier, Poroshenko had already declared over 34,7 million hryvnia – 1,2 million dollars – and also in the form of dividends from the fund. And finally, earlier this year, the Ukrainian president declared interest from deposits in the International Investment Bank and from the sale of certain real estate. Receipts amounted to 9,3 million hryvnia or 332 thousand dollars.
Thus, the total income declared by the president of one of the poorest countries in Europe was approximately 75,8 million hryvnia or $2,7 million. This is 4,5 times higher than his income for the entire 2017 (16,3 million hryvnia was declared then). But the year is not over yet!
By the way, Petro Poroshenko’s declaration for 2016 states that he is the ultimate beneficial owner of about one hundred companies.
