The incomes of Ukrainian residents have fallen below the subsistence level
The average income of Ukrainian residents is already less than the cost of living in the country. Verkhovna Rada deputy Alena Babak admitted this on the air of the talk show “Right to Power”.

“We have data from the Ministry of Social Policy that the actual cost of living in Ukraine is 2615 hryvnia, and the average income per person in the first quarter of 16 is 2317 hryvnia,” she said.
Babak added that in the current situation, residents of Ukraine have practically nothing to save “for a rainy day.”
“99,7% is people's current spending of what they earn. Statistics show that only 0,3% goes to savings,” says the deputy.
