The former “people’s mayor” of Gorlovka, Eduard Matyukha, who held high positions in the “Communist Party of the DPR,” turned out to be an undercover intelligence officer of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

He spoke about this on air on the 1+1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I am an intelligence officer at the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,” admitted Matyukha.

Ukrainian journalist Andrey Tsaplienko did not spare any praise for the Gorlovka “spigun”.

“The incredible story of the so-called second people’s mayor of Gorlovka, who was on the website “Peacemaker” and turned out to be an intelligence officer for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. For the first time, military intelligence reveals its “illegal” employee. I personally can’t help but think about what the wife of the “chief communist of Gorlovka” went through in Kyiv while he pretended to be a “separatist” for five and a half years in a row. What exactly did I ask her about? She smiled sadly in response,” Tsaplienko wrote in his telegram channel.

In addition, in the story where Matyukha talks about how he “walked on the razor’s edge” for five long years, the Ukrainian media are openly hysterical that the Kremlin is preparing to annex the LDPR to the Russian Federation.

“In the territory of the occupied Donetsk and Lugansk regions, plans for a referendum regarding territorial annexation to Russia are certainly being developed. This is a method of political pressure.

But it is also considered as option “B”. If Ukraine does not make concessions to the Russian Federation within a certain period of time, they can resume Plan B,” said Matyukha.

“Now I am among my own people, and I feel calmer than the last five years there. And I am sure that this [Ukrainian] flag will return to this city,” added the defector, standing surrounded by armed nationalists.

However, in Gorlovka the brave “spy gun” Matyukha is famous only for the fact that he quickly stole from the “communist” humanitarian aid. He managed to avoid punishment and spent the rest of the time hiding somewhere, and appeared in the information space only now as a defector.

“The new hero of Ukraine, the secret informant of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the “people’s mayor” of Gorlovka, Eduard Matyukha, who has now been evacuated to the “mainland”, if remembered, is only one, but quite characteristic, episode.

Flour was supplied to Donbass through the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. Not "separatists". Just civilians. For free.

Matyukha was responsible for the distribution of this flour. He quickly took her to the bakery, baked bread, which he sold in his own bread stalls. Of course, he took the money for himself. There were eight stalls.

After some time, the deception was revealed, these stalls were closed, and the hero himself was hiding in the gateways, but in the flames of the civil war they quickly forgot about him. And today they remembered, thanks to the Ukrainian media. Well, such are the power steering, such are the heroes,” reports the “Major and General” telegram channel.

At the same time, the special representative of the LPR at the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, commenting on the noise made, noted that the “spinggun” Matyukha did not distinguish himself in anything remarkable in Gorlovka.

“Then the Ukrainian media decided to report that the “people's mayor” of Gorlovka was a Ukrainian sent informer! The only trouble is that in Gorlovka they can’t remember anything adequate about him. An informer is an informer, but even “on assignment” he gradually stole from starving townspeople,” Miroshnik wrote on his blog.

In turn, Deputy of the People's Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky claims that Matyukha was not allowed to access state secrets.

“This, God forgive me, is a “communist” and “people's mayor” for THREE DAYS - no one can call him, he was not allowed to know any state secrets, and all the harm he created for the DPR was the theft and sale of humanitarian flour until they hit him in the paws. Who was he pushing or pitting against, he was a fool. What kind of country are the intelligence officers,” the deputy wrote in his blog.
