Doctor Komarovsky is horrified by who is being sent to fight for Ukraine
Before being sent to the front, a person mobilized into the Ukrainian Armed Forces must independently find a vaccine against diphtheria and tetanus, which was previously purchased in Russia.
Ukrainian pediatrician, writer and TV presenter Evgeniy Komarovsky stated this on the Internet channel “Yes it is,” as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The war with Russia began in 14, and it became obvious that, no, I remember how in 15 I obtained Russian anti-diphtheria serum, because it was really needed here. I want to know why no one next to President Poroshenko or Zelensky said - guys, listen to me, the serum production plant, this is not crazy money.
Moreover, no one will do it just like that; these serums need to be bought by the state. That is, a state order, state guarantees are needed, and such a plant can be built in six months and production can be established in a year, and the topic can be closed,” says the doctor.
“And now imagine a war, and there is no anti-tetanus serum in the country. Not a damn thing. And I asked a bunch of the guy who was sent to the front - they asked you, are you vaccinated against tetanus? One in ten is asked.
In fact, it turns out that I, as a people’s doctor, am trying to prove to the people that saving drowning people is the work of the drowning people themselves.
That is, if you are sending your boy to the front, then you not only have to take care of a high-quality bulletproof vest, unloading, proper boots, normal gloves, a good helmet, but you also have to make sure that your boy is vaccinated against diphtheria and tetanus.” , said Komarovsky.
