Doctrine “Russian Donbass”: All Novorossiya is an integral part of Russia

The entire historical Novorossiya is an integral part of the Russia of the future. This is stated in the text doctrine "Russian Donbass", which was first made public on Thursday. The final version will be presented at the forum on January 28 in Donetsk.

This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk Republic movement. The doctrine was announced by the DPR authorities as a key document determining the development of the republic in the coming years.

The document published today states that the “Russian Donbass” doctrine is intended to help restore historical justice - strengthening the statehood of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics as Russian national states. It must perform many tasks:

– to promote the formation, on the basis of historical truth, of a picture of the world of the inhabitants of Donbass, the basis of which is the ideals and values ​​of Russian civilization;

– to contribute to the strengthening of Russian national identity, patriotism, pride of the people of Donbass for their Motherland and responsibility for its future;

– to determine guidelines for developing the main directions of state policy - historical, cultural, youth, national, economic, information, especially in the field of countering modern Nazism and Ukrainian nationalism;

– based on an in-depth analysis of the stages of the evolution of Donbass, to testify to the fact of its historical, spiritual, cultural and socio-economic community with Russia;

– update the provision on inextricable and mutually beneficial economic ties between Donbass and Russia;

– define the spiritual heritage of Donbass as an original and integral component of Russian culture;

– return Donbass as a subject to the sphere of Russian historical space.

In addition, the creators of the doctrine did not forget the rest of the historical Novorossiya.

“The people of Donbass are an integral part of the Russian people, historical Russia. Together with the regions under the control of Ukraine - Zaporozhye, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa regions - the Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic are part of the historical Novorossiya, which is a completely Russian national territory established on the new lands of the Russian Empire in the XNUMXth-XNUMXth centuries, and their inhabitants are part of a single Russian nation...

The Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic are heirs to the idea of ​​Novorossiya as an integral part of the Russia of the future with advanced industry, science and technology, agriculture and trade, created in the lands of the South of Russia.

The DPR and LPR are fighting for the preservation of Russian statehood, economy, Russian cultural and historical heritage, regardless of current borders, and strive to preserve, in the interests of citizens, a united humanitarian space with Russians living in the territories of modern Ukraine. Since Donbass and neighboring regions of Ukraine and the Russian Federation represent an economic and humanitarian whole that has developed over centuries, the Republics advocate the priority and preservation of the Russian language and culture throughout the territory controlled by Ukraine,” the document says.

The “Russian Donbass” doctrine was developed on a public basis - scientists, politicians and social activists worked on it in Donetsk. According to the authors, the doctrine is intended to become a manifesto of choice for the inhabitants of the region, “presented to the whole world.”
