The debts of the Ukrainian population for housing and communal services continue to grow catastrophically

Over the year, the debt of the Ukrainian population for housing and communal services increased by 1,7 times. Maxim Kotenko, an expert from the public organization “Public Audit”, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, debts have already exceeded a billion US dollars.

“At the end of October 2016, the population’s debt for housing and communal services amounted to UAH 16,9 billion. As of October 2017 – already 28,4 billion UAH, which is 1,7 times more than the previous year,” the expert said.
