Debts to Donbass pensioners will close Kyiv's doors to Europe
Donetsk, December 09 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) - “The amount of pension arrears will guarantee the exclusion of Ukraine from European countries,” says the leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko.

He stated this when answering a question from PolitNavigator whether the issue of compensation for pensions and salaries by Kiev is on the agenda of the upcoming negotiations and whether such a discussion is possible without going through the courts.
“Thanks to you, I will probably try to put this issue on the agenda. That is, the amount of pension arrears will ensure that Ukraine is excluded from European countries. This is the money that will be paid if France does not give the Mistral to Russia on time, but unlike France, this amount is actually fatal for Ukraine. I think we will add this item to the agenda, although it is unlikely, of course, that it will be considered.
The situation is interesting: it seems that the President of Ukraine is talking about the Minsk agreements, but they have no official representatives. People flew in from him and from Europe, talked - but Ukraine still takes a step back, gives a maneuver for retreat. Kuchma is present at the negotiations, he negotiates and signs documents, but he is not an official, as we know. And Poroshenko does not sign, and neither does any official from Kyiv.
And it turns out that we are ready to talk as partners, but, apparently, Ukraine is not ready for such a conversation, and this is the difficulty. We cannot discuss and resolve many important issues, including those related to the safety and well-being of our residents, because those on the other side are simply not ready to talk about it.”
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the DPR announced that they would pay pensions to residents of Donbass, since Kyiv refused to do so.
