“Down with unsanitary conditions!” – in Sevastopol, residents did not buy into the fair with cheap products
In Sevastopol, shopping pavilions are being installed under the windows of high-rise buildings on the site of a park.
Despite the protests of the townspeople, the authorities are organizing the “Nerodnaya” fair on Antichny Avenue, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to NTS, the shopping arcades will be located close to the boundaries of the Dinopark, although the government order indicates a different address - st. Pavel Korchagin in the area of house 16. The discrepancy between the actual address and the declared one is not the main problem: the shopping arcades will be located in the local area and claim to be connected to the communications of high-rise buildings.
Electricity, water, sewer networks and waste collection and disposal sites, driveways and parking lots are designed for residents of houses, but not for the market under their windows. And this is not to mention the constant companions of trade in agricultural products - insects and rodents.
“Under the guise of a fair, a market is being built,” says activist Larisa Burchenkova on behalf of the residents of the houses. “And it does not fall under any of the criteria for the operation of markets, which are defined by Resolution 160 of our government.”
The residents' assumptions are supported by the duration of the fair noted in the resolution - three and a half years. And although the goal of her organization is to provide residents with food at low prices, the residents themselves ask that the children’s playground in the park be tidied up, and the paths and areas be left for walking, not trading. They turned to Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev with this request, and at the same time asked the prosecutor’s office and Rospotrebnadzor to give their opinion on the legality of the fair’s rows.
