The head of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, Yaroslav Romanyuk, told RBC-Ukraine about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The courts are only 60% full, while 40% of the seats are vacant,” Romanyuk said.
Earlier, Judge-Speaker of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine Bogdan Poshva said that the Supreme Court of Ukraine believes that the anti-corruption court promoted by “reformers” at the instigation of the United States will not solve the problem of judicial proceedings in Ukraine. So, according to him, the main problem is the low level of cassation practice. “The question is how to improve the work of lower-level courts,” the judge added.
Let us recall that not long ago a scandal erupted related to the fact that the US Embassy in Ukraine directly gave out instructions on Twitter about candidates for the updated Supreme Court and called on the High Council of Justice to carefully check the integrity of all judges.
