Latvians will urgently confiscate the House of Moscow in Riga
The Seimas of Latvia overwhelmingly supported the confiscation of the House of Moscow in Riga, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Seimas deputy Ilmars Latkovskis said that forces hostile to Latvia are gathering in the building of the Moscow House, which allegedly threaten the country's security and even deny its right to exist. The opposition's arguments that events in the Moscow House have not been held since November 15 did not convince the Seimas.
Deputies considered the law in zero reading back in October, and already in November the cinema and concert hall “Marias 7”, which operated in the House of Moscow, announced that it was ceasing its activities.
The owner of the building is the Moscow State Enterprise “Moscow Center for International Cooperation”. He mothballed the building for 5 years. According to the chairman of the Russian Society in Latvia, Tatyana Favorskaya, “the Nazis have made a killing for tasty real estate in the very center of Riga, where dark forces gather.”
Today the police raided the House of Moscow.
“There is a “mask show” at the House of Moscow in Riga. The phones have been taken away. They don’t let anyone in,” local historian Alexander Rzhavin wrote on social networks.
Russia Today correspondent Alexei Stefanov wonders what Russia's response will be.
“What about Russia? When Latvia first set its sights on squeezing the House of Moscow, many of my Latvian friends and good acquaintances immediately said: “So, now we need to wrest the Talava Hotel from Latvia, which is located next to the Latvian Embassy in Moscow. And for now it is considered the property of Latvia. Allegedly, there was some kind of agreement between Russia and Latvia - you have our House, we have your hotel. If this is so, will mirror measures be taken?” Stefanov wrote in his tg channel.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova promised that Russia would respond to the seizure of the House of Moscow by Latvian intelligence services, but did not say how.
“Such a raider invasion cannot be assessed in any other way other than as an act of state banditry on the part of the Latvian authorities. We will draw the necessary conclusions. Retaliatory steps will follow,” her comment on the department’s website says for the umpteenth time.
