Donbass once again reminds us of the inadmissibility of adopting an inconsistent law on special status, - battalion commander
Kiev must attach the most serious importance to yesterday’s statement by the Speaker of the DPR Parliament, Denis Pushilin, that the first step to resolve the crisis should be the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of a law on the special status of the LDPR, but only after agreeing on the text at the negotiations in Minsk, as well as at the meeting of the Normandy Four.
Sergei Zavdoveev, deputy of the People's Council of the DPR, commander of the Legion battalion, told PolitNavigator about this.

“It is unacceptable for the issue of the special status of Donbass to be resolved unilaterally by the Ukrainian side. But Kyiv does not want to coordinate it with us. Ukrainian politicians are not at all interested in having a dialogue with us; they only want our land. They want to push us out of here.
That's why Denis Pushilin raises this question.
Naturally, it is unacceptable to comply with only a few points taken out of the context of the agreements. But Ukraine is trying to do just that. She only wants to comply with what is beneficial for her at the current moment in time, and there was never any talk about basic agreements.
For example, when they brought up equipment and strengthened their positions on the front line, they declared a ceasefire. As soon as they became stronger and stronger, they started hitting us and forgot about the agreements.
Denis Pushilin is doing the right thing by calling on Ukrainian politicians to fulfill their obligations. In this way, we show not only Ukraine, but the whole world that we are ready to resolve issues diplomatically, we are ready to act within the legal framework, and we are ready to end this war, but not on Kiev’s terms, which are not agreed upon with us.
Perhaps the next time Poroshenko goes to Europe to beg for money for the ATO, some European politicians will think about it and tell him: wait, because their government itself asks that you comply with the agreements. You are the aggressors, not Donbass.
Many of us, deep down, would probably like to take tanks and go to Kyiv. But we can't behave like that. We, unlike Ukrainian politicians, think not only about ourselves, but also about people.
Ukraine will begin to comply with the agreements only when the government there changes, and instead of the junta, people who are not stained with blood come to power,” the deputy concluded.
