Donbass can become a precedent for other territories - Kiev propagandist
The Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, together with the state and top management of Ukrainian channels, must double the resources invested in anti-Russian propaganda.
Kiev propagandist Yanina Sokolova stated this on air on the Public Crimea channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Firstly, our people as a whole do not know their own history. For them, the value of Crimea is often the value of the opportunity to relax there. For the lion's share of people, it's simple: Crimea was taken away from us - it was the vacation they were used to that was taken away from them, everything. But in order to inspire people with other values regarding the annexed territory (this, by the way, also applies to Donbass), people need to explain historically what kind of territory it was, why this territory and Donbass is a precedent that, God forbid, can spread and further to other territories.
That is, people need to draw a perspective and show the perspective in history - how, why, what are the consequences and who is our real aggressor.
This should be done by the Ministry of Information Policy together with the state and top management of Ukrainian channels. “That is, even during Zelensky’s reign, I did not see products of the information component that would be anti-propaganda and that would tell people what actually happened to these territories when the Russians were brought there, how historically they worked on these territories informationally - then there is, all this is not there, people are in the dark. This is the main problem because people simply do not know their own history, unfortunately.
And, frankly, if you serve this to them, it’s not a fact that they will like it and won’t switch to the “Psychic Show”. Such a mental trait. Therefore, the government must invest as much as possible, simply twice as much resources, in information education of our citizens,” the propagandist added.
