Donbass hopes to return to Russia without the script “08.08.08”
Attempts to push the Donbass republics into Ukraine will cause armed resistance from members of the LDPR militia.
"Yes. I will fight. What does it mean to integrate into Ukraine? So we have to give up our positions? Raise your hands, stack your weapons and let the Ukrainians come here? Of course, we will fight,” said former head of the DPR Security Council Alexander Khodakovsky in an interview with Journalistic Pravda.
He believes that the Minsk agreements are “just a historical monument depicted on paper.”
“All processes are flowing in the direction of Russia. And if we now speed up, speed up, so to speak, passportization... Suddenly, by next year, you see, we’ll have seven hundred million people in two territories. Even Ukraine can no longer ignore this fact,” Khodakovsky noted.

That is, they waited until the Georgians there switched to such an outright war, and then they only reacted.
