“This is just the beginning of our interaction in different areas of activity. In the future, we hope for interaction between the economies of our cities,” says Vladimir Titarenko, head of the municipality of the Feodosiya urban district.
The head of the Alchevsk city administration, Natalya Pyatkova, expressed hope for the restoration of the city's control over the recreational infrastructure of the city-forming enterprise - the metallurgical plant of the plant.
“Our plant had its own recreation centers in the Feodosia district, I think that with joint efforts they can be restored. Very serious social programs for the improvement of the families of its workers, which the plant had previously, will find their application in Feodosia,” Pyatkova said.
The cities of Saki and Snezhnoye, the Belogorsky district of Crimea and the Lutuginsky district of the LPR, the Ardonsky district of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and the city of Kirovskoye in the DPR also became twin cities.
In total, 13 twinning agreements were concluded during the year.
“Literally every region of the LPR and DPR should have a sister city in the Russian Federation - this is my principled position,” said Andrey Kozenko, coordinator of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
