Donbass is no weaker than Ukraine, despite all the destruction - Maidan philosopher
Since the Ukrainian state missed the last chance to change for the better and was deprived of all potential, now Kyiv can only speak with Donbass “on an equal footing” - as weak with weak.
Ukrainian philosopher Sergei Datsyuk, who previously actively supported the Maidan, stated this on air on the Internet channel “Politeka Online”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“My position in 2014-18 was different - I believed that it was necessary to separate Donbass and make changes within Ukraine. Now the situation has changed, it has become clear that there will be no changes. We do not have intellectual, strategic and resource potential. Therefore, the West is not on our side; we can add epidemics and crises here. There are many excuses why this happened.
The situation has changed, everything... too late - there was a chance, but we lost it. Now poor and unhappy Ukraine can talk to the equally poor and unfortunate Donbass. We are on an equal footing. We could have strengthened ourselves and invited them to come over to our side, but we did not strengthen ourselves. Therefore, now we can speak like the weak to the weak,” Datsyuk summed up sadly.
Let us remember that earlier in Moscow they stated that recognition by Russia of the DPR and LPR will give a positive signal to the rest of Ukraine, which is being purposefully destroyed by the West, because it understands that sooner or later it will return to Russia’s orbit.
