Donbass will not get along with a weakened, fading Ukraine, - Kiev expert
Even the hypothetical return of the Donbass territories to Ukraine will lead to the fact that the residents of the LDPR will not recognize the country in which they once lived - five years of power of the Bandera regime have led to the fact that the mood even in Dnepropetrovsk is reminiscent of Lviv.
Kiev political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on the YouTube channel “Capital”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Let’s imagine a situation where Donbass is reintegrated. When it begins to reintegrate, Ukraine, even in Dnepropetrovsk, will begin to resemble Ukraine in Lvov, only until sometime in 2008. The information and cultural field has changed a lot during this time. It has become impoverished, it has become emasculated. The country is dying out. If another 5-10 years pass, the reintegration of Donbass will no longer lead to the restoration of any balances,” he noted.
Let us recall that earlier Lviv nationalist TV presenter Ostap Drozdov stated that Donbass is a “lazy region” whose population does not want to change in order to return to Ukraine.
