Donbass will never agree with the introduction of a foreign armed mission, - deputy
The initiative voiced by the “Opposition Bloc” synchronously with Petro Poroshenko to introduce “blue helmets” into Donbass and revise the Minsk agreements cannot be approved by the DPR in any form. This opinion was expressed to a PolitNavigator correspondent by People's Council deputy Vladimir Bidyovka.

“It’s a shame that Poroshenko’s destructive actions are receiving a positive response from supposedly opposition Ukrainian politicians. It is especially strange that the initiative to actually disrupt the Minsk agreements (otherwise the introduction of an armed foreign mission simply cannot be assessed) is supported by the leader of the Opposition Bloc, especially since he comes from Gorlovka, a city that is shelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces almost daily.
The Republics have repeatedly stated that they are against any armed mission. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian side forgets that the text of the Minsk agreements was voted on by the UN, in particular, a set of measures for their implementation was voted on. And it clearly states that such significant actions must be coordinated with us - but this did not happen, no one agreed with us on anything. Everything that is indicated in the documents on Minsk is only an OSCE monitoring mission,” the parliamentarian recalled.
According to the deputy, since the signing of the Minsk agreements, Kyiv has been imitating them.
“Indeed, in Ukraine there is a formally valid law “On a special procedure for local self-government in certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.” The first article states that a special procedure for local self-government will be introduced in these areas for three years. The effect of all other norms was blocked by Petro Poroshenko, who on March 17, 2015 signed a law on amendments providing for the effect of Articles 2 – 9 from the moment of election and acquisition of powers of local government bodies in elections under Ukrainian legislation.
Any attempts to discuss the elections on our part within the framework of the negotiation process in Minsk were blocked by the Ukrainian side. Even statements by European representatives about the need to hold elections in Donbass were met with aggression, as was the case with the German ambassador to Ukraine Ernst Reichel.
But the first article of the mentioned law was not de facto enforced. So the law that absolutely did not work expires,” emphasized Vladimir Bidyovka.
