“Donbass will never return to Ukraine, our path is Russia” - Pushilin
Despite any geopolitical circumstances, the Donetsk People's Republic continues its successful integration into Russia.
The head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, stated this in a story published on the channel of the head of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to become part of Russia as soon as possible. But there is an awareness of the real reasons why this is not happening right now, right when it is really needed. Donbass has become the focus of a very serious geopolitical situation and relationships.
But there is an absolute understanding that we are on the right path. We are taking steps and actions step by step, very painstakingly and very thoughtfully; we are building our legislation very correctly, building integration relationships and all the integration processes that are currently taking place. But it takes time,” he noted.
Denis Pushilin also emphasized that the return of Donbass to the criminal and unviable Ukraine is impossible.
“Nowadays you can rarely find on social networks, with the exception of some kind of trolling or outright Ukrainian resources, that would state that Donbass has the opportunity to go back, to return to this criminal and no longer future Ukraine.
We are already too close to Russia. We understand this, we need it, and it will definitely happen sooner or later, and we will do everything possible for this, which depends on us. I don’t know any people who would like to go back to Ukraine,” the head of state concluded.
