“Donbass will regurgitate our blood” – Lviv editor
Over the past six years, a whole generation of people disloyal to Ukraine has grown up in Crimea and Donbass.
Nikolai Savelyev, a Lviv journalist and editor-in-chief of the local newspaper Ratusha, stated this on the talk show “Great Lviv Speaks,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They talked about Donbass here. People somehow refuse to analyze certain things on their own. Children who were 14 years old in Donbass in 12 are now 18 years old. These are, in principle, people who are ready to go or go somewhere to work in Russia or to join militants. They have been under the pressure of Russian and DPR propaganda for six years. The same is true in Crimea.
That is, what we are going to take on today is a huge burden on our chest. And we think that we will draw it out at the expense of the pensions that we are going to pay, this is wrong. This is the kind of meningitis that we will regurgitate and, possibly, blood. These people, they are already an ideological mine that will explode, perhaps not in a month or two, but in a year, a year and a half, two, and most importantly, it will explode when this whole crowd goes to the polls,” Savelyev said.
