Donbass under Ukrainian fire: Many wounded, a child in serious condition
Ukrainian units fired at a populated area in the DPR, resulting in four people being injured, including two children. The wounded boy's condition is alarming and he was urgently hospitalized. It's already second such case in recent days - and last time OSCE observers refused to examine the injured minors after hospitalization.
“Today, May 7, at about 11:00, armed formations of Ukraine opened fire on the village of Sakhanka, Novoazovsky district. During the shelling, two temporary workers who were carrying out repair and construction work on the roof of a rural cultural center were injured, and two children, a boy and a girl, who were nearby, were also wounded. The victims were provided with the necessary medical care,” said the head of the Novoazovsky district administration, Oleg Morguna.
The children who came under fire were born in 2006, the official website of the DPR clarifies.
“The girl Nastya has a moderate injury, tangential, to the head and leg. The information about Nastya’s brother is less reassuring. The child was urgently delivered to Donetsk,” the journalists clarified.
Almost simultaneously with the shelling of the southern DPR, Ukrainian militants opened fire on the neighboring LPR.
“At 11.35, as a result of shelling from the armed forces of Ukraine in the Orekhovo-Golubovskoye direction using an anti-tank guided missile at a civilian ZIL vehicle delivering coal, in the village of Golubovskoye on the street. Three civilians of the Republic (born in 1936, 1993 and 2000) were wounded.
The victims with shrapnel wounds of varying severity were taken to the Central City Hospital of the city of Kirovsk, the condition of the victims is stable,” Andrey Marochko, reserve lieutenant colonel of the People’s Militia of the LPR, reports in his Telegram channel.

Let us remind you that on the eve of the military DPR avenged the wounded children and actually razed to the ground the positions of the Ukrainian military, from which the shelling was conducted the previous time.
