Donbass fully supports the course towards integration with Russia
The educational process in the DPR is fully consistent with the Russian one, and the residents of the republic support the course of integration with Russia and identify themselves with the Russian people.
State Duma deputy Mikhail Degtyarev spoke about this following his visit to the DPR during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everything is calm in Donetsk. Although the salaries of the population of the republic are low, prices for consumer goods are significantly lower than the Russian average, all payments are made in rubles, the people fully support the course towards integration with Russia. We learned this from communicating with people in Donetsk and nearby settlements of the DPR. The people thank our country, humanitarian convoys are regularly formed, and still, as in previous years, they regularly go to the aid of the people of Donbass,” the deputy said.
“The educational process in the DPR is fully organized with ours, there are absolutely clear guidelines for the history of our country. We in Donetsk will never hear that Hitler and Nazi Germany allegedly carried out a liberation campaign against Soviet Russia, as would-be historians tell today in Ukrainian schools. We will never hear negative comments about the Russian people there,” Degtyarev added.
