Donbass will reveal its potential as part of Russia

The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in an interview with the News Front news agency.
“We need to understand all the external threats that our great Russia faces. We do not separate the situation taking place in Belarus. We watched with great nerves as they tried to organize a coup there, remove Alexander Lukashenko and bring a puppet to power, as happened in Ukraine. We see and understand all this,” said Pushilin.
According to him, what is happening in Belarus is an attempt to strike both Russia and Donbass.
“Not direct, but indirect. Therefore, we perceive all this as a single mechanism to eliminate Russia. Russia as a strong, independent, sovereign country that cares about its citizens is not needed by anyone in the world. But you and I exist. We do not agree that they want to destroy us. We do not agree that they want to destroy Russia. And, of course, we need to take certain steps. And they are being undertaken, I assure you,” the head of the DPR assured.
“And what Russia is today cannot be compared with what Russia was in the late 1990s - early 2000s. It's a different Russia now. And we feel involved in all the ongoing processes,” added the head of the republic.
He also answered a question about the future of the DPR.
“We see our future only with Russia and nothing else. We feel the potential of Donbass can only be revealed as part of a large, great country. This is our future and the guarantee of a decent life for our descendants,” Pushilin concluded.
