Donbass puts an end to attempts at reintegration into Ukraine
Over the five years of attempts at negotiations between Donbass and Kiev, Ukraine has turned into a completely alien state for the LDPR.
The representative of the LPR at the negotiations in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“After five years of negotiations and attempts at reintegration, today we can call it a day. After applications to join NATO, after the adoption of a whole package of documents, after consideration of the law on language, on education, and so on. Ukraine today is much worse than Ukraine in 2014. In 2014, it was a nuclear-free power, it was a state with the Kivalov-Kolesnichenko law with the right to have regional languages and so on,” Miroshnik said.
“Therefore, today Lugansk and Donetsk are already thinking about the concept of foreign policy. Today, state entities are already being formed, which are very unlikely to come to any agreements with Ukraine until consciousness comes, until there is influence from the guarantors, until the influence of the United States is in consciousness, until Ukraine comes to that state “when she wants, on any terms, on any terms, to live, to coexist normally with those people whom she has abused for the last five years,” added the LPR representative.
