Donbass: Triumph of New Russia

Triumph of Novorossiya. This is exactly what I would call what happened today in the territory controlled by the DPR and LPR.
Initially, I was skeptical about today. The excitement on May 11 in Mariupol, during the referendum, became too vivid a memory. Then, the residents of the factory city, frightened and angry by the pogrom perpetrated by the neo-fascist political battalion Azov, during the celebration of Victory Day, young and old came out to say “no” to fascist Ukraine. However, after some time, the militia disappeared somewhere (although no one spoke loudly about this on either side). On the contrary, Azov’s fascists returned to Mariupol. Each of the punishers of this unit had in his pocket an identification card of an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Inspired by them, the bandits gave free rein to their BDSM fantasies. Not being busy in an undeclared war, in a rear, calm, hard-working city, all these flawed non-journalists, such as the Azov fighter, Andrei Dzyndzi, began to wander around the streets, looking for “separatists” and “cotton wool”.
In particular, that same Dzyndzia, not to be mentioned for dinner, burst into the apartment where the editor of one of the anti-fascist publications was registered. The owner himself, Eduard Merkulov, was absent; the door was opened by his elderly mother. Azov bandits broke into the premises, turned things over, conducted an illegal search, without not only a warrant, but even the right to do so (no one except the police has the right to do this). The frightened woman was told, pointing to the St. George ribbon hanging over the table, that her son should be shot only for her. They took what they liked and left. Since then, journalist Eduard Merkulov has been hiding.
And his assessment of the behavior of punishers from volunteer battalions with certificates of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was best expressed by the governor of the Lugansk region, loyal to Kyiv, but extremely inconvenient, Gennady Moskal. He sent a complaint against the newly minted SS men, and, in particular, wrote: “We note with regret that a certain proportion of people in eastern Ukraine suffered from representatives of military formations belonging to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (Moskal wrote specifically about the Aidar battalion, subordinate to the Ministry of Defense). The situation escalated sharply in October. Thus, since the beginning of the month, 64 statements of kidnapping or missing people have been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. I appeal to the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff with a request to explain to military personnel that they are not the subject of operational-search activities, do not have the authority to conduct investigations, cannot detain without a court decision and hold people in their military units (the places of detention of detainees and arrested persons are clearly marked in the law “On Pretrial Detention”). This is a gross violation of the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, a direct discredit to me personally. “I will not allow the Ukrainian-controlled territory of the Lugansk region to be turned into Latin America of the 60s.”
From Gennady Moskal’s very modest and laconic letter flows a muddy, brown slurry that has flooded the entire Donbass with its fetid stream. Everyone sees this, almost everyone understands this. But everyone is silent. The choice, paradoxically, can only be made anonymously, only at the polling station. That is why Mariupol voted for leaving Ukraine on May 11. In Kyiv, this choice was not recognized, like any other actions, as a sign of denial of the newly emerged Ukrainian fascism. The way the result of the popular expression of will in Mariupol was violated tells us what the agreements with the people who came to power in Ukraine are worth by deceiving the person who signed the agreement with them. I mean the still legitimate President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych. According to the logic of the Kyiv fascist junta, it turns out that everything is illegal. Including the presidential elections, and the Parliamentary tragicomedy.
However, I think that Kyiv did not expect such enthusiasm from the inhabitants of the region, which the Ukrainian fascist army subjected to real genocide, bombing the once flourishing factory cities, mine cities, to the center of the Earth. In Kyiv they are convinced that the spirit of Donetsk and Lugansk residents is broken, that the militia has decayed, is fighting and fighting with each other, that without budget revenues, the residents of Novorossiya will drive out their defenders themselves. Personally, I was also skeptical about elections among the ruins. I didn't expect this. Which one exactly? Well, here are the turnout statistics for you. I can’t vouch and no one can vouch, but that’s what it is! At 14-00, November 2:

Perevalsk - 36,1% - 7999 people.
Even numerous photographs on social networks show huge queues, like those at the Lenin Mausoleum. People came at 6 and 7 am, took over and even fought over seats. Those who came in the morning stood for four to five hours to say YES to their power. At the same time, people’s mood did not smell of lilac at all. Yes, they were cursed and destroyed by the Kiev junta. This means daily artillery attacks. This means hundreds of thousands of refugees from their land, from their homes. This means national humiliation for the Russian and Soviet people. This means there is no truth and justice. But from the nightmare of the fascist occupation, the fascist junta, which launched a war against its own people, the grapes of wrath grow and are filled with the power of resistance energy.
The voting results suggest that Novorossiya has taken place. That the “Russian spring” has been replaced by the “Russian summer”, autumn and winter will also be Russian. They went to the ballot boxes in defiance of terror and war. All deaths are out of spite. To show those who died that day that death was not in vain. Everyone who is fighting against the fascists today are soldiers of the glorious Red Army. All of them are warrior-liberators. All of them are worthy descendants of great ancestors. And this day, these lines to the ballot boxes in Krasny Luch and Perevalsk, Donetsk and Lugansk, Antratsyt and Sverdlovsk, will be carved in a new bas-relief on the restored memorial at Saur-Mogila. On the monument to the winners of the fascist vermin!
