Donbass will wipe the nose of Ukraine by carrying out real lustration
Elections to local government bodies in Novorossiya, announced for November 2, will truly rub Ukraine’s nose, because it will be a real, not a fake, lustration.
In Donbass, to this day, there are many Russophobes sitting on local councils who are doing everything to sabotage the efforts of anti-crisis centers to establish normal life. There are people, such as the heads of utility companies, who are not so easy to get rid of due to their competence in the industry. But it is possible and necessary to get rid of numerous deputy mayors, and even the mayors themselves, many of whom sat in their chairs under Kravchuk, replacing them with people loyal to the people’s power, ready to work.
Otherwise, real power will remain in the hands of military commandants of settlements, who are simply not able to understand the mass of administrative issues, not to mention the fact that they have their own tasks relating to law enforcement agencies, security, etc.
In short, on November 2, Novorossiya will host what is commonly called lustration in Ukraine. The local population will decide who will remain in power and who should retire. The question is quite relevant, because today we have to state a sad fact - despite all the military victories and achievements of New Russia, the social, administrative and other related spheres of the republics are in a terrible state.
But I am an optimist in this matter. Russians are capable of more than that - they established a normal life both during the Patriotic War and after it, so it is quite possible to cope this time too. But success requires dedicated work.
New Russia needs new leaders who can ensure the survival of the local population in winter. These people will bear a responsibility that no Ukrainian official has ever had.
