“We will initiate a youth forum, which will then possibly be transformed into a youth camp on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. We want to see the youth of Donbass here. What is happening now in the LPR adds relevance to the actions of our Young Guard,” Kiselev said.
Public organizations of Donbass are seeking the return of Alexander Fadeev's novel "The Young Guard" to the school curriculum. This was stated by acting. Nikolay Zaporozhtsev, Head of the Republican Executive Committee of the Public Movement "Peace to the Luhansk Region".
“An open letter in support of this initiative was published by the Russian Writers Union. In the LPR, this problem has already been solved: from September 1, the novel will be studied in schools and gymnasiums. In the year of the 75th anniversary of the creation of the organization, it would be right to re-release the novel in mass circulation and demonstrate Sergei Gerasimov’s film “The Young Guard” on state channels,” Zaporozhtsev said.
The founding meeting of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee was held on March 17 at the Livadia Palace in Crimea. It was attended by the leaders of the LDNR, Crimea, deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and senators of Russia.
