Donbass is waiting for the return of militias from Russia
In the event of an escalation of hostilities in Donbass, many militiamen with experience in the battles of 2014-2015, who have now left the army, are ready to immediately return to duty.
First Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov said this on air on the First Republican TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the event of a serious “mix,” the militia will, of course, return. I communicate with many guys, mostly those who left the army and went to Russia. And everyone expresses, and writes themselves: “If something happens, don’t forget to indicate where to go, if there is no connection, we will find you.”
Of course they will return. Of course, they have enormous experience. But you need to understand that if something happens, if people don’t know where to return, there are military registration and enlistment offices, there are divisions. Walking chaotically towards the front is fraught with danger. Here you also need to observe some limits.
And so - of course. And I will say for myself that I am always on combat readiness,” said Bezsonov, a former employee of the press service of the DPR defense department.
“I hear this from all the militias,” the TV presenter added.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they stated that the situation in Donbass has worsened significantly, and this summer the conflict could flare up to the large-scale confrontations of 2015. Against this background The Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for a large-scale intensification of hostilities - conduct exercises to storm populated areas and drive trains of military equipment to the east of the country.
