Donbass offered Israeli scenario
In the republics of Donbass, the standard of living should be higher than in Ukraine. Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR Alexander Kofman stated this on the Israeli channel “Iton TV”, a correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“The standard of living in Israel is significantly higher than that of its opponents. This is the main indicator of the fairness of the struggle. This means our task is to do the same. Our task is to ensure that the standard of living on our territory is significantly higher than in Ukraine and, naturally, to keep the defense capability of our small state at a high level,” says Kofman.
The former minister recalled that not the entire territory of Donbass, which took part in the referendums on May 11, 2014, is under the control of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
“But, unlike Israel, we have both social and territorial claims. We do not believe that we are in all of our territory. We believe that Ukraine was captured by swindlers from the government, who at one time relied on nationalists, whom they are now even trying to suppress, but they are not succeeding, and nationalism is expanding and growing,” Kofman added.
