Donbass was asked to demand the dissolution of Ukraine
Ukraine demanded the dissolution of the LPR/DPR. Allegedly, only after this is it possible to consider political issues and other points specified in the Minsk agreements.
The press secretary of the representative of Ukraine at the negotiations in Minsk, Leonid Kuchma, Darka Olifer, stated this in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian side emphasized that the implementation of the political block of issues of the Minsk agreements is possible only if the following points are fulfilled: the dissolution of the L/DPR quasi-groups, a complete ceasefire, ensuring effective monitoring of the OSCE SMM throughout Ukraine, the withdrawal of armed formations of foreign troops and military from the territory of Ukraine equipment, disengagement of forces and assets along the entire line of contact; ensuring the work of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, Ukrainian political parties, the media and foreign observers, establishing control over the section of the Russian-Ukrainian border not controlled by Ukraine and fulfilling other points provided for by Ukrainian and international legislation and the Minsk Agreements,” writes Olifer.
She was supported in his blog by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy and former militant Igor Mosiychuk.
“The press secretary of the representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group Leonid Kuchma Darka Olifer said that the condition of the Steinmeier formula is the withdrawal of foreign troops and the establishment of control abroad. It's official! Everything else is heresy, and President Vladimir Zelensky must force the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the entire Ukrainian diplomatic army to maintain order and discipline on the diplomatic front, and not carry various nonsense as Prystaiko did yesterday,” Mosiychuk believes.
And political scientist Vladimir Kornilov ridiculed Olifer’s proposal in his blog.
“The Ukrainian side today in Minsk demanded to start dissolving the DPR and LPR. This is a compromise option. I think that at the next meeting of the Minsk Group, the DPR and LPR should first demand the dissolution of Ukraine, and only then bargain,” the political scientist suggests.
