Donetsk, November 06 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Donetsk is being shelled by the Ukrainian army from all sides, where troops loyal to Kiev are stationed, one of the leaders of the Free Donbass public movement, Miroslav Rudenko, told PolitNavigator, commenting on today’s military escalation.

“Now it becomes obvious that Kyiv is not independent in its actions and acts on the direct orders of its overseas curators and patrons. And, judging by what is happening on the outskirts of Donetsk, the truce ended, and Ukrainian troops launched an attack on our republic. Now the city is being shelled by heavy artillery from all sides controlled by Kyiv, and this means that all previous agreements have simply been crossed out.
We believe in our armed forces, and we do not doubt for a second that the enemy will be repulsed and completely defeated. But we don’t understand why we should do this, since it’s mostly civilians who will suffer, they are already suffering, and there are already casualties. The Ukrainian side will also suffer huge losses, but, apparently, Petro Poroshenko is not very concerned about this, and maintaining his rating is more important to him than human lives.
I will repeat once again: what is happening now is absolutely senseless and criminal,” Miroslav Rudenko emphasized.
