Donetsk refused to pay Kyiv for electricity

Kyiv, April 07 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The DPR will no longer pay Ukraine for electricity supplies, since the republic has formed its own wholesale energy market. This was announced by the head of the administration of the Head of the DPR, Maxim Leshchenko, reports the Donetsk News Agency.

According to him, now all payments for electricity that will be made by residents of the republic will be sent directly to power plants.

“The wholesale energy market of the republic has started working. Accordingly, payments that will be made by the population and enterprises for consumed electricity will go directly to the power plants. Further, according to this scheme, generating enterprises will pay their coal suppliers.” – Leshchenko noted.
